OrthoArizona adds two orthopedic surgeons: 3 key notes

Orthopedic surgeons Keith A. Jarbo, MD, and Kenneth J. Schmidt, MD, both joined Phoenix-based OrthoArizona.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Dr. Jarbo earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed a residency in Phoenix before his fellowship at the UHZ Sports Medicine in Miami. Dr. Jarbo served as a team physician for the Miami Heat, the Miami Dolphins, Florida International University and several Miami-Dade County high schools.

2. Dr. Schmidt earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Peoria. He completed his residency in Phoenix before he had a fellowship at the Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, Calif.

3. OrthoArizona is the state’s leader in anterior hip replacement surgery.
