Ortho Sport founder Armin Oskouei, MD, works with several nonprofits that provide transportation, temporary housing and discounted medical appointments in the Atlanta area.
On Dec. 15, Dr. Oskouei met with Mr. Mandela to discuss a partnership between his practice, Ortho Sport and the Mandela Institute. The new philanthropic partnership will focus on human rights, leadership, diversity and combating social injustice.
“Finding ways to connect and support others with the same vision for truly making a difference is very exciting. I look forward to continuing to find ways that OSSP, the foundation, and the Mandela Institute can join forces to help others,” Mr. Mandela said in a Dec. 20 press release.
