OrthAlign’s navigation system hits 200K joint replacement cases

OrthAlign, a medical device company, reached a milestone for its navigation technology in joint replacements, according to a Sept. 9 news release.

More than 200,000 OrthAlign-assisted joint replacements have been done worldwide. OrthAlign’s technology is indicated for total knee, partial knee and total hip replacements. Its handheld navigation technologies are packaged in one instrument tray and streamline workflows.

The company’s flagship product is KneeAlign, and additional applications were launched in 2017 and 2018.

“This is another great milestone for our organization that emphasizes the commitment of surgeons to our products,” Eric Timko, chair and CEO said.
