Orlando Health orthopedic ASC completes 1st total hip replacement

The Orlando (Fla.) Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute’s downtown ASC, which opened its doors in March, has completed its first total joint replacement.

Orthopedic surgeon George Haidukewych, MD, completed the direct anterior total hip replacement on Aug. 14, according to an Aug. 17 press release sent to Becker’s. 

Dr. Haidukewych serves as the academic chair of the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute and chief of joint replacement and orthopedic trauma. 

Orthopedic ASC patients have access to imaging, pharmacy services and physical therapy all within the same facility.
