Dr. Elkin is a fellowship-trained sports medicine surgeon specializing in the treatment of shoulder, elbow, hip and knee conditions.
He completed his fellowship at Medstar-Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, where he worked with the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Wizards, Towson Tigers and Morgan State Bears.
Dr. Elkin completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Rutgers – New Jersey Medical School in Newark, where he was administrative chief resident, and earned his medical degree at Rutgers – Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick.
