Oregon hospital expands orthopedic services with hand surgeon

The Columbia Memorial Hospital — Oregon Health and Science University Health Orthopedic Clinic in Astoria, Ore., has expanded its services to include hand surgery, led by Rolf Sohlberg, MD.

Dr. Sohlberg, an orthopedic surgeon with more than 30 years of experience, will treat conditions including arthritis, fractures, tendonitis, nerve compression, trigger fingers, Dupuytren’s contractures and select adult and pediatric injuries, according to a Sept. 9 system news release. 

He completed orthopedic residency training at the University of Illinois in Chicago and a hand surgery fellowship at USC–Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles.
