Corflex has integrated Opum’s Digital Knee sensor into its braces and other products to take clinical measurements and provide clinicians with analytics about the healing and recovery process.
The partnership aims to create a remote patient monitoring device for better outcomes in knee bracing.
“We are excited to be digitizing orthotic care with the Digital Knee platform, which has already been proven to deliver positive outcomes to patients and providers. We will utilize our joint expertise to create new wearable monitoring products to meet unaddressed patient needs,” Ted Lorenzetti, owner of Corflex, said in a Nov. 1 press release.
