Dr. Wilson, based in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, allegedly knowingly accepted significant payments from the pharmacy in exchange for recommending pain creams produced by the pharmacy.

The pharmacy paid Dr. Wilson what were characterized as “medical director fees” based on an hourly rate, but the suit alleges the fees were kickback payments, a violation of the False Claims Act.
