New Orleans-based Ochsner Health is planning to open a medical complex in Metairie, La.
The $45.6 million Ochsner Medical Complex-Airline will be anchored by Ochsner’s orthopedic and sports medicine services, which will be designed in collaboration with Andrews Medicine, according to an Aug. 20 news release from Ochsner Health.
The health system is developing the center in partnership with the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans
Construction of the 46,000-square-foot facility will begin later this year and is expected to open in late 2027. The center will have a projected economic impact of $134 million over the next 10 years and create more than 60 permanent jobs, the release said.
