New York City-based NY Orthopedics has expanded its network with two new practices.

The Rehabilitation Medicine Center of New York and Newark Rehabilitation Center have joined the organization, according to a Sept. 18 news release from NY Orthopedics.

Both of the practices focus on orthopedics, spine surgery and interventional pain management, providing care for pain and injuries affecting the spine, neck, back, shoulders, knees and ankles.

The Rehabilitation Medicine Center of New York and Newark Rehabilitation Center will continue to operate under their names and identities.

NY Orthopedics will provide practice management expertise, career development opportunities, technical resources and back-office support to the two practices, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
