Nura Pain Clinics adds Hero-SI Hybrid Construct

Edina, Minn.-based Nura Pain Clinics became the first practice in the Midwest to use the Hero-SI hybrid construct for sacroiliac joint fusion, according to a July 17 news release.

The Hero-SI procedure from Spinal Simplicity uses the Patriot SI and Liberty-SI systems, and the patient’s pain was reduced by 70% after a few weeks, the release said. 

R. Scott Stayner, MD, performed the debut case.
