Miami-based Nicklaus Children’s Hospital added an EOSedge imaging system for spine and orthopedic patients, according to a July 22 news release.

The EOSedge system creates full-body 3D images in a standing position for patients and provides precise measurements of anatomical angles with reduced radiation. In children, the system reduces radiation exposure by an average of 80% compared to traditional imaging.

The EOSedge system is part of Nicklaus Children’s Orthopedic, Sports Medicine and Spine Institute.
