Newman Regional Health adds sports medicine program

Emporia, Kan.-based Newman Regional Health has launched a new sports medicine program through the addition of Justin Clark, a certified athletic trainer, according to a Sept. 4 report from The Emporia Gazette.

Mr. Clark joined the Medical Partners Orthopedics and Sports Medicine team on Sept. 4. He has worked as a certified athletic trainer for Abilene, Kan.-based Memorial Health System and Abilene High School for the last 18 years. He also serves as the current president of the Kansas Athletic Trainers Association.

He will help Newman Health to establish a weekly Saturday sports injury clinic to provide patients with immediate assessments and care.
