Toms River, N.J.-based Performance Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine has integrated Prescribe FIT, a virtual lifestyle coaching platform, into its orthopedic care model.

The program provides personalized guidance for nutrition, physical activity and habit changes to help patients reduce joint strain and improve mobility. It has helped Performance Orthopaedics patients achieve reduced pain, improved function and weight loss, according to a Feb. 25 news release.

The integration aims to prevent surgery, enhance recovery and promote long-term musculoskeletal health through remote, at-home support.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
