The Orthopedic Center at Easton (Md.) has temporarily closed after a vendor issued a recall affecting the facility’s MRI machine, according to an Oct. 22 Star Democrat report.
The center, a partner of University of Maryland Shore Regional Health, shut down Oct. 21 “out of an abundance of caution” while the MRI equipment is evaluated and serviced. The closure affects all operations at the site, which offers imaging, physical therapy, rehabilitation and surgical services, according to the report.
At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
