Mount Sinai to open 8-physician spine, orthopedic center

New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System is expanding orthopedic services with a 15,000-square-foot office in Scarsdale, N.Y.

Opening Sept. 21, the facility will provide spine, orthopedic, sports medicine and musculoskeletal oncology care. Onsite services will include pediatric sports medicine, physical therapy and imaging.

Eight physicians will staff the center, including spine surgeon Wesley Bronson, MD.

Bradford Parsons, MD, Calin Moucha, MD, Ilya Iofin, MD, and Shawn Anthony, MD, will provide orthopedic surgical care.

The facility will also include nonoperative spine specialist Alexander Lee, MD, and nonoperative sports medicine specialists Melissa Leber, MD, and Eric Small, MD.
