Mount Sinai named medical provider of US Open Tennis for 13th consecutive year

New York City-based Mount Sinai will serve as the official hospital and medical services provider for the US Open Tennis Championships for the 13th year in a row. 

Mount Sinai provides a wide spectrum of services at the site, including orthopedics, internal medicine, primary care, emergency medicine, musculoskeletal radiology, acupuncture, podiatry, dermatology, an onsite pharmacy and onsite blood draws, according to an Aug. 15 news release from the Mount Sinai.

Alexis Colvin, MD, professor of orthopedics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, will continue her dual roles as chief medical officer of the US Open and U.S. Billie Jean King Cup team physician. She has served as chief medical officer at the US Open since 2013.

Melissa Leber, MD, associate professor of orthopedics and emergency medicine, at the Icahn School of Medicine, will once again serve as the director of player medical services of the US Open.

James Gladstone, MD, chief of the sports medicine service and associate professor of orthopedics at the Icahn School of Medicine, will continue as the official U.S. Davis Cup Team Physician.

Other Mount Sinai physicians providing care and supporting the 2025 US Open include Shawn Anthony, MD, Houman Danesh, MD, Elizabeth Dennis, MD, Leesa Galatz, MD, Chen He, MD, Andrew Hecht, MD, Tom Hildebrandt, PsyD, Robert Hoke, MD, Amie Kim, MD, Charles Litchfield, MD, Jhanna Moore, MD, Trevor Pour, MD, Ryan Renacci, MD, Christopher Reverte, MD, Aruna Seneviratne, MD, and Eric Small, MD, the release said.
