Mount Auburn Hospital to open joint replacement center: 3 notes

Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Mass., plans to open its new Longfellow Center for Joint Replacement on April 4.

Here are three notes:

 

1. Robert Miegel, MD, and Anthony Schena, MD, of Brighton, Mass.-based Pro Sports Orthopedics will conduct the surgeries at the center.

 

2. The center will be run by Deborah Levenson, MSPT, who will also oversee pre- and post-surgery patient education.

 

3. The average stay at the center is expected to be one to three days.
