Montecito acquires building that houses Rhode Island’s largest orthopedic practice

Montecito purchased a medical office building in East Greenwich, R.I., housing University Orthopedics.

University Orthopedics anchors the 60,000-square-foot building and occupies about 61 percent of the space, according to an Oct. 5 news release. The Providence, R.I.-based practice uses the building for imaging, physical therapy and clinical services.

Other tenants include a multispecialty practice, a behavioral health group and a dermatology practice. Details about the transaction were not available.
