Amsterdam, N.Y.-based Mohawk Valley Orthopedic Associates has added an orthopedic surgeon and spine surgeon to its staff.
Joachim Tenuta, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with nearly 40 years of experience. He has served as an orthopedic surgeon at Albany (N.Y.) Stratton VA Medical Center and as a team physician at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point (N.Y.), according to a Feb. 24 news release from St. Mary’s Healthcare.
Arnaldo Martinez, MD, completed fellowships in spine surgery and pediatric orthopedics at the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He is a member of the North American Spine Society and the International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery.
Mohawk Valley Orthopedic Associates has locations in Amsterdam and Johnstown, N.Y., the release said.
