The donation will make baseball training available to more young athletes in the area. This is one of the largest charitable donations ever made by the Diamondbacks, according to the report.

Along with the donation, all young athletes will have access to Banner Sports Medicine’s High Performance Center, which offers sports-specific training equipment for baseball players.

Banner Sports Medicine Scottsdale (Ariz.) opened in May 2023 and has already had 36,000 patient visits, while the High Performance Center has treated 12,000 athletes since opening last June.

The facility provides sports medicine services, including orthopedic surgery, primary care sports medicine, concussion management, X-ray and imaging, injury prevention, physical therapy and more.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
