Mississippi system opens orthopedic clinic, adds surgeon

Ocean Springs, Miss.-based Singing River Health System opened a new orthopedic clinic in the city and added Christopher Cheng, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, to its team, ABC and CBS affiliate WLOX reported Aug. 26.

The new space provides additional room for patients and includes on-site X-ray capability.

The clinic is intended to expand orthopedic care in Ocean Springs and meet demand in the growing community, the report said.

Singing River Health System also has hospitals in Gulfport and Pascagoula, Miss.
