Philip Myers, DO, performed the state’s first BEAR implant procedure at Singing River Orthopedics in Gulfport, Miss., according to a Feb. 27 news release from the health system shared with Becker’s.
The BEAR implant is a minimally invasive procedure that allows the body to heal a torn ACL by using the patient’s own blood.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
