Minnesota Vikings player has surgery at Cleveland Clinic’s London location

Minnesota Vikings safety Lewis Cine underwent surgery at Cleveland Clinic London for a compound fracture, the team said Oct. 4.

Dr. Aswinkumar Vasireddy performed the case, according to a news release. Mr. Cine’s lower left leg was injured during a game against the New Orleans Saints Oct. 2.

Mr. Cine will return to the U.S. “when the time is right” medically, the team said.
