Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush physicians provide free foot care to homeless: 3 notes

Simon Lee, MD, Johnny Lin, MD, and Kamran Hamid, MD, of Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush will provide free medical care to homeless at Chicago-area shelters.

Here are three notes:

 

1. Partnering with Soles4Souls, Drs. Lee, Lin and Hamid will also provide shoes and socks to an estimated 200 men and women.

 

2. Soles4Souls is a national nonprofit dedicated to procuring and distributing shoes to people in need all over the world.

 

3. Dr. Lee began the program’s Chicago charter in 2007 and since then Drs. Lin and Hamid as well as a group of residents and medical students have joined in providing medical screenings.
