With the extension, the partnership will continue through 2029. Mercy Southeast will continue to offer orthopedic and sports medicine services for the university’s NCAA Division I athletics and the school’s intramural and club sport participants and performing arts students.
Mercy provides the university with eight full-time athletic trainers for its athletic programs and one full-time athletic trainer for performing arts, intramural and club sports activities. It also provides game-day coverage for all athletic programs and on-campus clinic availability from both primary care and orthopedic physicians.
