The hospital is the first in the mid-Atlantic region to offer the technology, according to a news release. Gregory Gasbarro, MD, is the sixth surgeon in the U.S. to use Blueprint mixed reality.

The Blueprint mixed reality overlays 3D images to help surgeons have a direct view of the surgical site while also visualizing the preoperative plan.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
