Mercy Health — Springfield (Ohio) is relocating an orthopedic practice and adding neurosurgery services in Fairborn, Ohio.

Orthopedic surgeon Chris Malone, DO, and physician assistant David Comer, PA-C, relocated their practice from Enon, Ohio. Dr. Malone began seeing patients at the new location June 1, and Mr. Comer is scheduled to join him June 10. Mercy Health also expanded neurosurgery access by bringing aboard Michael Verdon, DO, who will begin seeing patients at the Fairborn office June 3. He will hold clinics there every other Wednesday.

The specialty services are being offered within the Fairborn Family Medicine site and are intended to meet growing demand for specialty care in Fairborn and surrounding communities, the health system said.

Women’s health services are also scheduled to begin at the location June 25 through a satellite office.
