Meet the physician providing care for the 2026 Super Bowl teams

Super Bowl 60 is set to take place Feb. 8 in Santa Clara, Calif., between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots. 

Here are a few notable physicians and consultants for each team, according to the NFL Physicians Society. 

Seattle Seahawks

  • Elias Edward Khalfayan, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and serves as head team physician for the Seahawks. He practices at OPA Ortho.
  • Jonathan Drezner, MD, is a sports medicine and family medicine specialist. He is affiliated with UW Medicine. 
  • Omar Bhatti, MD, is a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. He also specializes in sports medicine, musculoskeletal medicine and spine care at UW Medicine. 
  • Nicholas Seibert, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon of OPA Ortho. 
  • David Siebert MD, is a sports medicine and family medicine specialist at UW Medicine. He is the director of sports medicine and an associate professor at the University of Washington Department of Family Medicine.

New England Patriots

  • Scott Martin, MD, is head team physician for the Patriots. He is an orthopedic sports medicine specialist and practices at Mass General Brigham Sports Medicine.
  • Gian Corrado, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He also serves as director of emergency sports medicine at Mass General Brigham. 
  • Peter Asnis, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in knee and shoulder sports injuries. He is the Mass General Brigham Director of Professional Sports. 
  • David Judge, MD, is an internal medicine physician He practices at MD² Boston.
  • Kelly McInnis, DO, is a sports medicine psychiatrist. She practices at Mass General Sports Medicine. 
  • Paul Cusick, MD, is an internal medicine physician who serves as a consultant for the Patriots. 
  • Li Tso, MD, is an internal medicine and primary care physician. He is also a consultant for the Patriots.
