MedStar Health completes $2.1M orthopedic expansion

Columbia, Md.-based MedStar Health opened a newly expanded orthopedic practice in Olney, Md. 

The $2.1 million expansion of MedStar Montgomery Medical Center doubles the size of the practice, which is now 3,800 square feet, according to an Oct. 15 news release from MedStar Health. 

Services provided at the practice include joint replacement, sports medicine, hand and spine surgery, podiatry and general orthopedics.

The practice has nine exam rooms and is staffed by five full-time surgeons, the release said.
