Medical College of Wisconsin names Dr. Carole Vetter to endowed professorship

Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin named Carole Street Vetter, MD, the inaugural David S. Haskell, M.D., Endowed Professor in Orthopaedic Education, according to a Wautosa Now report.

Dr. Vetter currently serves as program director for MCW’s orthopedic physician residency program, and under her guidance, the program recently received a 10-year accreditation. She also serves as director and designer of the orthopedic surgery bio skill laboratory at MCW.

Dr. Vetter has been a principal investigator or co-investigator for several research projects, and has received a $4.6 million grant from the U.S. Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research, according to the report.
