Since its May launch, the company has placed 100 NextAR platforms in the market.

NextAR is offered with limited capital investment and single-use instrumentation at a low cost per case, providing the ability to host software for multiple applications for both joint and spine surgeries. Medacta said the technology is ideal for the ASC setting.

In the first half of 2022, the company added 80 jobs to expand across new territories and business lines.

At the Becker's 23rd Annual Spine, Orthopedic and Pain Management-Driven ASC + The Future of Spine Conference, taking place June 11-13 in Chicago, spine surgeons, orthopedic leaders and ASC executives will come together to explore minimally invasive techniques, ASC growth strategies and innovations shaping the future of outpatient spine care.
