1. Dr. Johnson previously practiced at Waycross, Ga.-based Mayo Clinic Health System, where he specialized in hip and knee replacements.
2. He obtained his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine before completing his orthopedic surgery residency at Boston University Hospital System.
