Mayo Clinic bolsters orthopedic services at 2 locations — 3 things to know

Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic Health System introduced new orthopedic and podiatry services at two locations, according to the Belle Plaine Herald.

What you should know:

1. With the addition of Stephanie Kvas, DPM, Mayo Clinic expanded its service offerings in Belle Plaine, Minn., and New Prague, Minn., where orthopedics and podiatry are in demand.

2. Dr. Kvas specializes in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. She graduated from Midwestern University’s Arizona School of Podiatric Medicine in Glendale and completed residency training at Hennepin Healthcare in Minneapolis.

3. Dr. Kvas’ professional associations include the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Minnesota Podiatric Medical Association.
