The 38,040 square-foot expansion will be four floors and include a sterilization and surgical supply unit, four operating suites, two procedure rooms and two areas that can be equipped for surgery. It will also include orthopedic technology including Mako robotics and 7D Surgical Flash navigation.
Fifteen spine and orthopedic physicians are expected to work out of the facility.
The orthopedic institute is expected to be completed in less than two years.
