Massachusetts orthopedic network adds 13-physician practice

Waltham, Mass.-based Northeast Orthopaedic Alliance added Hingham, Mass.-based South Shore Orthopedics as its sixth division, effective June 1.

The addition expanded NOA to six divisions representing 120 physicians, 108 advanced practice providers and 26 physical and occupational therapists across 22 locations in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, according to a June 1 news release shared with Becker’s

South Shore Orthopedics brought 13 physicians, 13 advanced practice providers and two locations in Hingham and Abington, Mass., to the organization. The practice will continue operating under its existing name and maintain its physicians and locations.

The move expands NOA’s presence across the region and broadens patient access to orthopedic care. South Shore Orthopedics provides services including sports medicine, joint replacement, hand and upper extremity care, foot and ankle care, spine care and orthopedic trauma services.

With the addition, NOA continues its strategy of bringing orthopedic groups together under a physician-led organization focused on integrated care and shared operational resources.
