The NextGen integrated system consolidated Spectrum’s four EHRs in its orthopedics division, which comprises rehabilitation, walk-in clinics and ASCs, according to the company. The installation standardized operations and improved clinical workflow.

Spectrum also implemented NextGen’s revenue cycle management platform to facilitate billing and collections and support practice growth.

NextGen’s system provides “enhanced analytics required for complex, multispecialty groups” and “can dramatically enhance patient engagement and improve outcomes, while creating operational efficiencies,” John Beck, the company’s chief solutions officer, said in a March 1 news release.

Spectrum Orthopaedics, a division of Spectrum Healthcare Partners, includes Maine Orthopaedics Center and OA Centers for Orthopaedics in Portland.
