Lehigh Valley opens 5th orthopedic site following hospital fire

Lehigh Valley Orthopedic Institute, part of Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health, opened a fifth orthopedic clinic and rehab site in Dunmore, Pa., following a recent fire at Lehigh Valley Hospital–Dickson City (Pa.).

LVPG Orthopedics and Sports Medicine–Dunmore began seeing patients Feb. 23, according to a system news release. 

The system also opened Rehabilitation Services–Dunmore, offering physical, occupational, hand and sports therapy, as well as neurologic and orthopedic rehab.

Emergency, surgical and inpatient care resumed Feb. 13 at the Dickson City campus. Four additional orthopedic clinics in the region remain open.
