Lake District Hospital welcomes new surgeon: 4 insights

Mary Skrzynski, MD, joined Lake District Hospital in Lakeview, Ore., according to the Herald and News.

1. Dr. Skryzynski will continue practicing at Deschutes Orthopedics in Bred, Ore.

 

2. She specializes in hip and knee reconstructive surgery and musculoskeletal oncology and caner.

 

3. Dr. Skrzynski earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine. She later completed her residency at the Milwaukee-based Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals.

 

4. Lake District Hospital’s CEO Charlie Tveit estimated the hospital invests between $500,000 and $750,000 on new instruments and computer guidance systems.
