Dr. Kawtharani specializes in treatments including in arthroscopic procedures and total joint arthroplasty of the knee, shoulder and ankle, fracture care, foot, ankle, hand and wrist procedures.
Currently, Dr. Kawtharani provides care at the Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Care Center and Wound Care Center at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kan. He will see patients at AVHS once per month starting Sept. 13.
AVHS has one hospital and three rural health clinics throughout Kansas, according to its website.
