Jupiter (Fla.) Medical Center is partnering with New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery to expand access to orthopedic care in South Florida.

HSS surgeons will perform procedures at Jupiter Medical Center’s Johnny and Terry Gray Surgical Institute and support a new five-story patient care tower focused on musculoskeletal services, according to a Jan. 9 news release.

The alliance offers patients access to HSS’ nationally ranked expertise in joint replacement, sports medicine, spine surgery and rehabilitation. HSS has been ranked No. 1 in orthopedics by U.S. News & World Report for 16 consecutive years.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
