Indiana University Orthopaedics in Indianapolis named Bryan Saltzman, MD, as head of the sports medicine division.
Dr. Saltzman specializes in complex knee, shoulder and elbow injuries, according to an April 30 news release shared with Becker’s. He joined IU Health in 2024.
Dr. Saltzman has published multiple papers on topics in ACL reconstruction and other joint injuries. He’s also dedicated much of his career to treating athletes.
“Our sports medicine and shoulder surgery division is an incredibly talented group of physicians, and we are committed to patient care, research and innovation,” Dr. Saltzman said in the release. “I look forward to helping elevate not only our standing in our local community but also enhancing our regional and national presence amongst the most respected academic sports medicine divisions in the country.”
