A surgeon recognized by the state of Nebraska and four more spine and orthopedic surgeons honored in the second quarter of 2021:
1. Orthopedic surgeon Eric Price, MD, received the 2021 Physician of the Year award for 'unparalleled quality' at Houston Methodist The Woodlands.
2. The Nebraska Association of Physician's Assistants has honored Brent Hood, DO, with its "Physician of the Year" award.
3. Orthopedic surgeon Matthew Levine, DO, of Atlanta-based Resurgens Orthopaedics has been named the medical honoree of the Arthritis Foundation's 2021 Walk to Cure Arthritis Georgia.
4. AlloSource awarded David Argo, MD, with its fifth annual Dr. Steven Gitelis Inspiration Award.
5. Patient Preferred Physicians and Practitioners, a society of highly referred providers, has named Steven DeLuca, DO, a "patient preferred orthopedic surgeon" for the state of Pennsylvania in 2021.
