Orthopedic surgeon among 152 missing after Florida condo collapsed

An Alabama orthopedic surgeon and his brother are among 152 people considered missing after a condominium in Surfside, Fla., collapsed June 24, AL.com reported.

Brad Cohen, MD, is a sports medicine specialist with Aventura (Fla.) Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine.

His brother Gary Cohen, MD, is a physiatrist at Tuscaloosa (Ala.) VA Medical Center, according to the report.

As of June 28, at least nine people were confirmed dead, according to CNN, while search and rescue efforts continued.
