From one surgeon operating on an NFL quarterback to another launching a podcast series, here are the latest orthopedists making the news:

Birmingham, Ala.-based Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopaedic Center is launching a podcast hosted by Michael Ryan, MD. The first episode will feature James Andrews, MD.

Robert Anderson, MD, will operate on Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

The University of Rochester (N.Y.) jointly appointed Christopher Cook, MD, the Dr. C. McCollister Evarts Professor in Orthopaedics.

The medical license of Raymond Allard, DO, was suspended following allegations of negligence and inappropriate behavior toward patients.

Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health terminated the contract of Mark Lemel, MD.
