Des Plaines-based Illinois Bone and Joint Institute opened an immediate care clinic in Chicago's Norwood Park neighborhood, according to a Feb. 1 news release.

The walk-in OrthoAccess clinic is an alternative to the emergency room for patients with orthopedic injuries, the release said. Services include treatment for simple fractures, sprains, strains and sports injuries.

IBJI has 13 OrthoAccess clinics across Chicagoland.
