Patient Preferred Physicians and Practitioners, a society of highly referred providers, named orthopedic surgeon Stanislav Avshalumov, DO, "Physician of the Year" for the state of New York in 2021.
Dr. Avshalumov is a hip and knee replacement specialist with Advanced Orthopedics & Joint Preservation in Valley Stream, N.Y.
He completed his residency at Peninsula Hospital Center in Queens, N.Y., and a fellowship in joint preservation, resurfacing and replacement at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
