From a joint venture orthopedic clinic to an expanded digital offering at a leading New York hospital, here are four key orthopedic partnerships in the past month:

Nashville, Tenn.-based 7 Springs Orthopedics opened its 10th clinic in Decherd, Tenn., in partnership with Southern Tennessee Regional Health System-Winchester, which includes treatment for spinal issues, sports injuries and chronic joint pain.

U.S. Orthopedic Alliance partnered with Castleford Capital, a New York City-based private equity firm, to form USOA Strategic Capital to support growth initiatives and partnership opportunities.

Zimmer Biomet teamed with New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery to deploy its remote care management platform for the Apple Watch. The initiative allows clinicians to implement HSS Orthopedic Care Pathways through Zimmer Biomet's Mymobility platform.

New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery began offering remote second opinions thanks to a partnership with Summus Global, a virtual specialist platform, and healthcare advisory firm PinnacleCare.
