Delaware orthopedists treat Biden for hairline fracture in foot: 3 details

President-elect Joe Biden visited an orthopedic practice in Delaware after twisting his ankle, according to The New York Times.

Three details:

1. President-elect Biden twisted his ankle while playing with his dog and was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in his midfoot, according to the report. The initial X-ray did not show a break but a separate CT scan revealed a small fracture, according to a statement from President-elect Biden's office.

2. President-elect Biden visited Delaware Orthopedic Specialists in Newark, according to a CBS report, and spent nearly three hours at the orthopedist's office on Nov. 29.

3. President-elect Biden is expected to wear a walking boot for several weeks as a result of the injury.
