Boca Raton, Fla.-based BocaCare Orthopedics and Sports Medicine welcomed Alexander Gaukhman, MD, according to an Oct. 19 report from South Florida Hospital News.
Dr. Gaukhman is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in total joint replacement surgery, the report said. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City.
He and his family immigrated to the United States when he was a child, and he grew up in north Florida, the report said. Dr. Gaukhman received his medical degree at Florida State University in Tallahassee and did his residency at Boston University.
"We would like to welcome Dr. Gaukhman to BocaCare," Justin Weatherall, MD, an orthopedic surgeon at the practice, said in the report. "His extensive residency and fellowship training in the latest orthopedic surgeon techniques will make him an excellent addition to our team."
